LIKE A TREE is a Scripture Memorization Workshop that provides holy motivation and practical application of basic memorization techniques in “Taking God’s Word to Heart.”

Why memorize Scripture?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 offers several excellent answers:

  • All Scripture is “inspired” literally, “God-breathed.”
  • All Scripture is useful to teach us what is true and do what is right.
  • All Scripture is able to expose our rebellion and set us straight.
  • All Scripture is preparing us in every way, fully equipping us to do God’s will.

These reasons alone justify any amount of personal time and effort we can direct to entreasure God’s Word in our hearts!
